Page, Arizona is located in northern Arizona at the Utah border - the crossroads of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and the Grand Canyon National Park - within a half-day's drive from many of the world's most famous parks, monuments and recreations areas. Below are highlights about this unique land.

Lake Powell’s largest and best equipped marina, Wahweap, is just a couple of miles north of Page. The Stateline launch ramp and boat rental marina are also located there. Wahweap Marina is home to nearly 1,000 private pleasure craft - most of them custom Houseboats, as well as one of the biggest rental fleets in the nation. Lake Powell is known as America's Favorite Houseboat Destination for good reason. In addition to houseboats, you can rent powerboats in all sizes for a day or a week. Powerboat Rentals are available on the lake or from local marine dealers in town.

Page is also the gateway to the waters of the Grand Canyon. Whitewater rafters come through Page on their way to the river at Lees Ferry on the Colorado River. The river also boasts excellent trout fishing just below the Dam - a popular spot for fishing and a favorite of local professional guides.

Within a few hour's drive is the Grand Canyon's North Rim as well as the canyon's South Rim, two of the most popular scenic spots in the world. Many of our guests are headed to, or coming from, the Canyon's rim. If you are planning a drive to the area, it is a good idea to check the weather forecast- though the roads are good, you'll be able to plan for any delays.

If Lake Powell and The Grand Canyon weren't enough already - Page, Arizona is situated at the center of southwestern America's Grand Circle. Here you'll find destinations such as;

Mesa Verde National Park
Zion National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park
Canyonlands National Park
Monument Valley and
The Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument

Springtime is a busy time in Page, with fishing one of the main draws to the area. Lake Powell is fast becoming famous for its Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass fishing. Striped Bass (stripers) are also popular with many anglers, especially youngsters. Page's reputation for sport fishing is furthered by fact that world-famous Gary Yamamoto Baits is located here. Big names in pro fishing like Shaw Grigsby, Orlando Wilson and many others come to Page and Lake Powell to film new segments each season. Professional fishing guides are available for hire with advance reservations - an excellent way to make the most of your next fishing trip because you'll get a taste of fishin' like a pro!

Page is also home to championship golf in a unique southwest desert setting with Lake Powell National Golf Course. Course designer William Phillips completed the course in 1995 - expanding it to 27 holes - and it has been voted one of the best golf values in Arizona by Phoenix Magazine. Get-away packages are available that include lodging and discounted green fees.

Of course a visit to this strange geographic area wouldn't be complete without a hike to Antelope Canyon via the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation. Guided interpretive tours are offered by Grand Circle Adventures. There is a $5 Navajo permit fee and all parties require a qualified escort into the canyon.

This area is also the gateway to the grandaddy of all things stone, Rainbow Bridge National Monument. Soaring above the tiny river that created it a millennia ago, this natural spectacle can be reached by private, rental or tour boat - approximately 50 miles by water from Wahweap Marina. One and two-day packages are available that include a tour via comfortable tourboat.
